Terms:                  Full Time
Salary/rate:        $77,000 – $100,000 (Based on Experience)

About the Role:               
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Design Engineer to join our expanding design team.  This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to contribute to exciting projects in a rapidly growing industry.
Responsibilities:             

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design, analyze, and detail custom structural supports and foundations for mining facilities and equipment including crushers, screens, and conveyors.
  • Utilize structural analysis software and tools to create detailed structural designs and calculations.
  • Conduct design and analysis using applicable design standards and codes. 
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) or ability to within the next year.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 0- 2 years of experience in a design engineer role or related field.
  • Familiar with:
    • AutoCAD 2D and Inventor CAD system.
    • Structural analysis software such as RISA-3D
    • Microsoft Excel and MathCAD
  • Work or Coursework experience with:
    • Steel Design, Reinforced Concrete Design, Foundation/Soil Design, Dynamics, BIM
    • Aggregate, mining, or structural steel fabrication industry.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Willing to travel to job sites (drive or fly) as needed with occasional overnight stays.
