Hargadon Farms began in 1970 when Frank and Libby Hargadon moved from west Louisville to raise their 6 (soon to be 7) children on a farm and began raising registered Angus cattle. The farm now totals a little over 900 acres and it continues as a family operation with emphasis on quality feeder cattle and replacement heifers . In the last couple of years, the family has started a small pork and goat enterprise to produce locally sourced proteins. Plans are underway to add a forage program to produce high quality hay to sell.
