New Construction Sales Consultant

The New Construction Sales Consultant is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local builders, architects and remodelers. With over 25 years in the industry, Door Store and Windows is focused on selling high end windows and doors with unparalleled service to the best builders and contractors in the area. Job Description
- Achieve annual sales, market share, and profitability goals in targeted area.
- Collaborate with sales leadership team to identify, recommend, and implement sales and service strategies and goals.
- Generate approximately 90% of qualified leads using personal and company-provided resources and contacts.
- Conduct consultations which include product and service explanations, measures, and contract negotiations and closure.
- Become an expert on products and services we provide.
- Work within company pricing guidelines.
- Follow up on orders to assure timely delivery of product, customer satisfaction and prompt payment.
- Showroom duties, including some Saturdays, are required.
- Handle sales for replacement applications as needed.
You’re a good fit if….
- Two years of sales experience with formal sales training is a plus.
- Existing contacts in the building industry
- Proficient at math
- Customer service oriented
- A self starter
- Genuine interest in the home improvement industry
- Eagerly hunts for new customers by prospecting, networking and cultivating potential clients
- Thirst for knowledge
- Money motivated
- High school diploma is required, a college degree is preferred
- Good organization and communication skills are a must.
Earning Potential
- $70k to $200k including base salary, commissions and bonuses
