Job Description: ALC Site Manager
Reports to: Executive Director
Hours: 45 hours, 2-week pay period.
Time Commitment: As per “Employment Letter of Understanding”
Supervises: ALC staff and volunteers, per location hired to include Administrative Assistant, Staff Peer Advocate, Childcare Assistant, ALC Assistant (Float).
Qualifications:
- Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
- Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity.
- Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith, and center policies.
- Be able to respect and keep information confidential.
- Have experience in Word, Excel, Outlook, and an adequate working knowledge of computers.
- Be able to properly screen calls & texts and take necessary steps to meet the caller’s needs.
- Upon completion of training, be comfortable talking about abortion on the phone or text.
- Upon completion of training, be able to peer-counsel clients.
- Upon completion of training, be comfortable counseling clients on pregnancy options
- Be able to maintain schedules for all center activities.
- Maintains consistent life-affirming philosophy and would never refer or advise a woman to have an abortion.
- Possesses good leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate well interpersonally with other staff, volunteers, and clients.
- Able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
Duties:
Leadership and Office Management:
- Provide consistent leadership to staff and volunteers, keeping a strong connection with the Executive Director and other ALC Site Manager(s), Executive Administrative Assistant, and Staff Nurses.
- Attend all Leadership Team meetings as the Executive Director assigns and implements action items discussed in such meetings.
- Implement all ALC’s policies and procedures at the ALC campus that are consistent with ALC practices, effectively communicating with staff and volunteers.
- Manage the administrative aspects of the office, including staff and volunteer, and client scheduling,
- Provide a warm and hospitable reception, including answering the phones, greeting clients, etc.
- Provide monthly client statistics to the Executive Director and ALC Board of Directors.
- Attend weekly all-staff meetings.
- Actively engage in community outreach and building relationships to promote ALC’s mission.
- Actively plan, coordinate ALC’s fundraising activities and meet stated fundraising goals as determined.
- Discuss with the center's Executive Director (ED) staff and volunteer needs and help recruit well-suited staff and volunteers.
- Keep track of staff & volunteer schedules
- Assist in the annual training program for staff and volunteers with the ALC Leadership Team.
- Seek out and implement ways to train staff & volunteers through regular communication and building relationships.
- Regularly monitor staff & volunteer effectiveness and conduct regular evaluations, proactively implementing any disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Be available and willing to assist the Executive Director on development-related tasks related to campus geographical reach, including speaking at area churches and small groups.
- Assist the Executive Director with donor relations and correspondence that pertains to ALC.
