Position Summary – Technical Project Development Associate
Biogrund USA, part of a global excipient manufacturer with headquarters in Switzerland and operations across Europe, is seeking to add a Technical Project Development Associate to its North American team in Shelbyville, KY.This is a customer-facing, highly mobile role supporting the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. The position offers an entry point into a regulated, science-driven market with hands-on exposure to formulation projects, client meetings, and international industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Support customers across North America through onsite visits, technical discussions, and project coordination
- Attend major industry trade shows and conferences
- Manage customer projects from sample request to trial execution
- Collaborate with internal sales, R&D, and regulatory teams
- Maintain CRM activity and project reporting
- Independently organize travel and visit schedules
Work Style
- Frequent travel (approx. 100–150 client interactions per year)
- Base location: Shelbyville, KY (home office/remote flexibility)
- High autonomy and responsibility in planning and executing field and project activities
Candidate Profile
- Recent graduate or early-career professional in science, business, or engineering
- Strong communication skills and willingness to travel
- Self-organized, responsible, and eager to learn

Compensation
- $55,000–$65,000 annual base salary
- Performance-based bonus
