We are a growing community law firm specializing in estate planning, probate, and family law. We handle a variety of practice areas from prenup to probate. We value efficiency, integrity, and client-centered approach.
This full-time position is primarily responsible for assisting our 2-attorney law firm in case management, processing and assessment of files and correspondence to ensure client satisfaction. This person will also handle the day-to-day front office operations of the law office including client intake & screening, mail processing, file maintenance, general office management as needed. This position is expected to grow to include a supervisory capacity over support staff.
The ideal candidate is a focused, self-driven individual with exceptional organization and case/project management skills ready to assist our firm in serving our community. You are skilled and comfortable with technology, easily adopt new technologies and skills, and have the initiative to implement and hone procedures and processes to provide top-notch client service. You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment and can handle discussing difficult topics.
Job duties include:
* Management of calendar for all attorneys
* Client Screening and Onboarding Processing
* Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper and electronic filing systems
* Collect, examine, and organize evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation
* Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents, such as pleadings
* Research regulations, laws, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports, case files, and legal advice
* Manage client billing by preparing, finalizing, and sending out bills, as well as resolving billing issues in cooperation with the billing attorney
* Communicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings, interviews, and depositions
* Other office administration tasks

Experience:
* Advanced to Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Adobe Acrobat

Education:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000 + per year, commiserate with experience
