Qualifications:
- Proven experience as clinical director or other managerial position
- Experience in clinical supervision and program management
- Solid understanding of budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation procedures
- Excellent knowledge of standards (e.g. ISO) and regulations for the clinical field
- Proficient in MS Office programs Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
- Aptitude in resolving issues and conflicts
- BS/BA in clinical administration, medical science, or relevant field will be appreciated; RN or LPN will be prefened
Reports to: Executive Director
Duties:
- Managing the clinic in a manner that is in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations, including but not limited to HIPPA, that ensures patient privacy, promotes positive outcomes for patients, creates a positive public image for the clinic and Operation Care, and that embodies the vision and mission statement of Operation Care:
- Recruiting, orienting, and overseeing all volunteers to ensure the clinic is staffed with qualified medical care providers and support staff at all times;
- Recommending qualified candidates for paid staff positions to the Operation Care Executive Director (Executive Director), then orienting and supervising all paid staff to ensure the clinic is staffed with qualified people;
- Securing and maintaining documentation of the proper credentialing of all volunteers and/or paid staff who are medical professionals.

- Planning and overseeing the day-to-day clinic operations.
- Securing and maintaining appropriate levels of pharmaceutical inventory, necessary medical equipment, and medical supplies.
- Planning and overseeing a proper method of accounting for the clinic's inventory of medications and medical supplies, including establishing and implementing procedures to account for the following:
- All medications and medical supplies received in clinic inventory disposed of during the fiscal year,
- All medications given to patients after being prescribed by a medical professional at the clinic during the fiscal year,
- All expired medications disposed of during the fiscal year, and
- All medications in inventory at fiscal year-end.
- Performing an ongoing assessment and evaluation of clinic programs, policies, and procedures to ensure optimum clinic performance and communicate any needed changes to the Executive Director.
- Assisting the Executive Director in establishing and abiding by a budget for the clinic each fiscal year and monitoring the clinic's budget performance each month, advising the Executive Director of any budgetary problems.
- Ensure the Executive Director is advised of any deviation from the board approved clinic policies and procedures as set forth in the Mercy Medical Clinic Manual, as well as any new policy decisions and/or directives of the clinic's volunteer Medical Director.
- Compile all data requested by the Executive Director to assist in grant writing and statistical reports.
- Coordinate with the Executive Director to ensure that all required state licenses, certifications, and registrations are current and that all necessary insurance policies are in effect.
- Advise the Executive Director of any required facility maintenance.
- Secure all medical records according to KRS and HIPPA statutes and regulations.
- Maintain staff records, ensuring appropriate confidentiality and that all required professional certifications and licenses are documented as currently in effect.
- Provide annual written evaluations of all regular clinic volunteers and paid clinic staff.
- Oversee the proper maintenance and repair of the medical equipment in the clinic to ensure it is in safe working order.
- When directed by and in coordination with the Executive Director act as clinic liaison with media contacts, press releases, and clinic correspondence.
- Evaluate and advise the Executive Director of the spiritual condition and ministry of the clinic.
