Job Title:              CAD Technician – Aggregate Processing Industry
Location:             Shelbyville, Kentucky  
Terms:                  Full Time
Salary/rate:        Up to $32 Based on experience

About the Role:               
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our design team. The candidate will be responsible for creating final production documents for equipment & systems used in the crushing, screening and processing of aggregates.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Detail custom conveying equipment, crushing and screening plants.
  • Create detail & general arrangement drawings using CAD for fabrication & erection.
  • Provide drafting support for multiple projects, assisting project managers in meeting deadlines & project goals.
  • Collaborate with the project team to translate design concepts into detailed plans & 3D models.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Formal education/training in drafting using 2D and/or 3D CAD software.
    • Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
    • Additional industry-specific training or certification a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of:
    • AutoCAD and Inventor CAD system (Vault).
    • Hydraulic schematics and piping layouts.
  • Proven experience working with aggregate processing equipment & bulk material handling systems is highly desirable.
 Candidate Requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Motivated self-starter.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Willing to travel to job sites (drive or fly) as needed with occasional overnight stays.

Office Requirements:

  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry office materials or equipment up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to work in an environment with typical office noise levels (phones, printers, conversation).

  • Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
