Site Supervisor, Southern Sports and Recreation

We're looking for a Site Supervisor to lead installation crews on job sites for our sales and installation company specializing in stadium seating, railing, boat docks, playground equipment, and other park and sports equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who's comfortable both managing a crew and working alongside them in the field.

Duties

  • Lead and coordinate daily work assignments for installation crews, ensuring projects stay safe, on schedule, and within budget
  • Read blueprints, plans, and installation instructions to determine job requirements and plan procedures
  • Inspect work progress, equipment, and job sites to verify safety and specification compliance
  • Estimate material and labor needs; order and requisition supplies
  • Train crew members on construction methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Locate, measure, and mark site layouts using appropriate equipment
  • Troubleshoot production issues and recommend solutions
  • Coordinate with management, contractors, and other departments to resolve problems and align activities
  • Maintain accountability for tools and equipment, including inventory and reporting damage or repair needs
  • Operate job-site equipment such as skid steers, drills, man-lifts, and compactors
  • Maintain accurate records on personnel, production, and operations

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of experience in construction, installation, or related field work
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Prior experience leading or directing crews preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, materials, and job-site safety practices
  • Experience safely towing and maneuvering trailers/equipment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills

Work Environment

This role is based primarily at active outdoor construction and installation sites — playgrounds, athletic facilities, stadiums, and waterfronts — in all types of weather. Expect frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting, along with regular use of hand and power tools. Travel between job sites is required (~50%), including occasional overnights, early mornings, evenings, or weekends to meet project deadlines.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
