Help JA INSPIRE the next generation!
Volunteers are needed to join Junior Achievement as we partner with 100 local businesses to host our second annual career exploration experience called JA Inspire. More than 10,000 eighth or ninth graders, including Shelby County’s High School students, will have the opportunity to interact with hundreds of industry professionals leading them through hands-on activities designed to encourage students to step into the shoes of employees from all industries.
Most positions are indoors, air-conditioned, 4 or 5 hours, easy tasks, very organized event and an appreciative team of Junior Achievement staff leading the way!
How can you help?
- Dedicated individuals needed Oct. 24 - 27 (Shelby Co. will be in attendance on Fri. Oct. 27th).
- Location: KY Exposition Center
- Variety of opportunities available which include: greeting students, passing out materials, or mentoring and interacting directly with students
- 4 and 5 hour shifts available
Please join us and show your support by helping Shelby County’s workforce of tomorrow by volunteering at the event. Sign Up online or contact Jennifer Harris at jharris@jaky.org
