On Saturday March 23 at Red Orchard Park from 2 pm until 4 pm, Falconer, Michael Harman, will have a presentation on Falconry, the oldest form of team hunting between humans and animals based on respect and mutual trust. Although falconry is believed to have originated in China, the first recorded evidence of falconry appears in paintings from Persia made 4,000 years ago. Joining Michael will be Seamus, a Northern Goshawk and Henery, a Red-tailed Hawk. This will be a wonderful education opportunity to learn about the valuable role raptors play in nature
