Jewish Hospital Shelbyville and the local Diabetes Coalition will be holding a monthly support group on the second Monday of every month. The group will meet at Jewish Hospital Shelbyville in the King's Daughter Room, located on the lower level of the hospital. The group is facilitated by a community member and board certified clinical therapist Jene Hedden of Shelby Counseling Associates. This support group will provide a safe place for individuals with diabetes or caretakers of persons with diabetes to express their feelings about day-to-day challenges of living with and managing a chronic disease.
