Saturday, May 11th
Help us pull "Garlic Mustard" that has made its home in the woods near the creek. Garlic Mustard is a non-native invasive herb that crowds out our native plants and even produces chemicals that can keep our native plants from being able to grow.
It's easy to pull out and can actually be used in recipes such as a pesto.
We'll meet at the Miller Outdoor Education Center at 9am.
If you can't make that day, no worries we'll be out Tuesday evening May 14th at the Squire Boone Trail that goes along Lake Shelby for more garlic mustard removal and trash pickup.
Dress for the weather. Gloves, tools, water and snacks provided.
