Shelbyville / Shelby County Parks and Recreation offers a wide variety of recreation activities and programs for all age levels and abilities. Our hub of the park system is Clear Creek Park which is over 130 acres and offers a wide range of activities from multiple sports leagues to outdoor activities such as walking, running, multiple playgrounds, picnicking, and much more! A great addition to Clear Creek Park is our five million dollar Family Activity Center. The FAC was opened in 2000 and offers indoor and outdoor swimming, a dry sauna, fitness area and fitness classes, basketball gym, indoor walking/running track, adult and youth sport programs, after school care, summer camps and an administrative area.
