February 26th, 2021 Announcement
  • North Central has a self-scheduler on their website for a Vaccination Clinic at NCDHD on Thursday March 4. 
  • Go to NCDHD.com to schedule your appointment. If you need assistance or do not have access to internet, please call our Helpline M-F 8am-4:30 pm at 502-390-2600.
  • APPOINTMENTS ARE NOT OPEN FOR PHASE 1C YET as we continue to focus on the vulnerable population of 70+
  • Must live or work in our district of Shelby, Spencer, Trimble or Henry counties to make an appointment.
  • We will make an announcement when we open to Phase 1C soon. Watch our website or follow us on Facebook for all the latest information!

VACCINE UPDATE
  • Phase 1C set to begin March 1
  • More than 583,000 Kentuckians have received first dose
  • 47 independent pharmacies and 77 Walgreens participating in process
  • 410 providers now in Kentucky providing vaccines

VACCINE PHASES
The planned vaccination phases are:
  • Phase 1a: Long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, health care personnel
  • Phase 1b: First responders, Kentuckians age >= 70, K-12 school personnel, CHILD CARE WORKERS
  • Phase 1c: Kentuckians age >= 60, anyone older than 16 with U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) highest-risk conditions for COVID-19, all essential workers
  • Phase 2: Age >= 40
  • Phase 3: Age >= 16
  • Phase 4: Children under the age of 16 if the vaccine is approved for this age group (estimated to comprise 18% of Kentucky’s population)

  • If you think your identity was stolen due to, fill out form online to report
  • If you have funds still on Bank of America card, funds must be used by February 28th or Bank of America will send back and Unemployment Office will issue a paper check

  • $40 million in Federal Emergency Relief Funding to Non-Public Schools
  • $4.6 million Grant Expand Treatment and Recovery Services for Opioid Use Disorders, awarded to 12 non-profit organization in Kentucky
  • Indoor visitations will continue for some ling term care facilities
  • Team Kentucky Gallery - gallery of art work to be displayed in the main hall of the capitol for 6 months
 
Art Submission Requirements
  • Theme: Team Kentucky
  • Artworks should be a minimum size of 30-inches-by-24-inches and a maximum size of 36-inches-by-36-inches. The maximum depth is 4 inches and the maximum weight is 25 pounds.
  • Artworks should be framed.
  • Artworks can be landscape, portrait or abstract.
  • Please include the following information when you submit: your name; age (if 18 or younger); school, company, personal website, social media channels or other information you would like to be displayed with your artwork; phone number; email; name of artwork; size of artwork (including frame); artist’s statement; city and county.
  • Artists also can note if the artwork is for sale or not. Artworks will not be sold as part of the Team Kentucky Gallery, but interested buyers will be able to contact the artist for information about a sale once the artwork is returned.
