Head Housekeeper
Job description: FULL TIME
- Supervision of Staff: Manage and lead a team of housekeepers, ensuring they perform their duties efficiently and adhere to cleanliness standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that necessary items are always available.
- Staff Training: Recruit, train, and develop housekeeping staff, providing ongoing training on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service.
- Housekeeping Responsibilities: Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts. Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors. Perform all other job-related duties on an as-needed basis.
High school diploma required
Previous customer service experience preferred
