Outdoor Naturalist is an educational program about Shelby County’s natural resources and outdoor history. The class meets on the third Thursday of each month, from 6-8 p.m. at the Extension Office or an on-site location, depending on the topic. Remaining classes include: Practical Entomology & Pollinators Archaeology Environmental Ethics & Philosophy Reptiles/Amphibians/Fish/Birds Mammals Participants may choose to attend any number of segments, but space for some sessions will be limited, so we request that you sign up for each one you plan to attend to help us plan accordingly. Call 633-4593 to register; the next sessions will be held November 17 and December 15. November’s topic is Practical Entomology and in December we will discuss Archaeology in Kentucky.
