Harvesting Grapes for a the Animals!

Here's a FUN and FUNDRAISING event for Shelby County Humane Society volunteers over 18 years old!

 
What:  Harvesting grapes for wine at  Vegh-Davis Vineyard in Shelbyville, KY (map attached)
What to Bring:  It's a day in the sun......consider bringing sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, bug spray, gloves.......whatever.  There is NO heavy lifting required.
Vineyard will provide:  Snippers, Lunch, Bottle of wine for each volunteer (as a thank-you)after lunch (around 1 pm)
 
BEST of all..........the vineyard will donate $5 for each hour worked by each volunteer to the Shelby County Humane Society!!  We are asked to provide names of volunteers in advance, so if you plan to pick grapes............let me know!  There will be a check-in table where you will pick up your instructions, snippers  and sign a release form (to hold the vineyard harmless if you injury yourself.)
 
Please sign up ..........a head count is needed for lunch and bottles of wine!  Ask your friends, co-workers, family to join you!
