Mark your calendars for the
2012 Bug Out! Fest, August 17th & 18th.
Friday evening, Blake Newton from the UK Entomology Department will bring some creepy crawly friends and lead a bug walk around Squire Boone Trail to check out our local bugs. The trailhead is located at the end of Don Cubert Rd at Lake Shelby.
Saturday, there will be an insect invasion at the Miller Outdoor Education Center at Red Orchard Park. Then Bug Out! Fest will end Saturday evening with a moth roundup at Shelby Trails Park with Richard Henderson from The Society of Kentucky Lepidopterists.
