With deer season around the corner\, many folks are thinking about different ways to fix their fresh harvest. For those cooks and hunters out there\, we'll have Miss Roadkill Cafe herself\, Joan Brown\, demonstrating how to prepare a hearty venison stuffed heart\, venison bacon cheese bread\, fried turtle along with a few appetizers and other surprises. So\, stop by for a sample or two and collect some new recipes before the big hunt. We're asking $2 per small plate. All proceeds go toward future programming and displays at the Miller Outdoor Education Center.
