Bill Cooke\, an accomplished backpacker for over 35 years\, will present his experience hiking the 486-mile long Colorado Trail in 2011. Hear in detail the challenges of traveling through rapidly changing conditions\, as well as the rewards of being surrounded by snowy peaks\, wildlife\, and alpine meadows. Bill will present information about the trail followed by a 25-minute slide show of photos from his 2011 "thru-hike." There will also be copies of his book "Shades of Gray\, Splashes of Color - A Thru-hike of The Colorado Trail" available for perusal and purchase.
