DESCRIPTION:Auditions for Shelby County Community Theatre's youth production of Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. will be held at the theatre on Monday\, July 23 and Tuesday\, July 24 at 6:00 p.m. Roles are available for children age 7-14. Auditions will consist of a prepared song\, cold readings from the script\, and a dance audition. Please prepare 16 measures of a Disney or Broadway song. Songs from the show are acceptable. An accompanist and a CD player will be provided\, so please bring either sheet music or a CD. No a cappella auditions. Dress comfortably and wear closed-toed shoes for the dance audition. Performance dates are September 13-16 and 20-23. The musical is directed by Rebecca Leigh-Chaney Brewer.
