SUMMARY:SCCT Summer Workshops for Children
DESCRIPTION:Three children's workshops will be offered this summer at Shelby County Community Theatre. We are thrilled to also offer two children's workshops hosted in Simpsonville\, KY. Each session will teach different skill sets as well as build on previously developed skills. Children are welcome to enroll in all!\n\n \n\nActing 101 will focus on the fundamentals of theatre\, including vocalization\, characterization\, movement\, and audition techniques. This workshop will culminate in a showcase of monologues and short scenes.\n\nMusical Theatre will include dance and vocal training and will culminate in the production of 2-3 musical numbers. \n\nPlay in a Week will be just that\, a play produced in only a week.
