Our guest speakers\, Shelia Fawbush\, County Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences\, and graduate student\, Whitney Asher\, will provide you with a tasting of delicious fruits and vegetables\, teach you how to count carbs\, and tell you where you can get fruits and vegetables in Shelby County. KRDC is a diabetes education\, support\, and advocacy group. You do not have to be a person with diabetes to join. Individuals who care about health\, professionals\, retired persons\, students\, family members or friends of persons with diabetes\, civic-minded persons\, etc. All are welcome and encouraged to get involved!
