Kentucky Division of Forestry Ranger\, Sara Johns\, will discuss how to use bark\, buds and branches\, known as the 3 B's\, to identify trees minus their leaves.  This is a great opportunity for scouts and other groups who want to create a bark rubbing journal.  We will meet at the parking lot at the end of Don Cubert Rd near the Squire Boone trail at Lake Shelby on Sunday February 9 at 2 P.M.  Dress for the weather and hiking.  Water\, snacks and bark rubbing materials provided.
