DESCRIPTION:After your fun-filled Spring Break\, come see us again on Saturday April 18 for our 9th Annual Earth Day Celebration at Red Orchard Park. Brand new this year\, we're kicking the event off with a 5K Run/Walk with a course that will highlight many of the park attractions. But don't run off\, stick around for all the festivities that begin at 10 am and go until 2 pm. The Miller Outdoor Education Center and Barn will be busy with activity. There will be activities for the kids along reptiles\, raptors and many more critters for them to check out. We'll also have local artists and craftsmen showcasing their talents throughout the day. Don't forget those recyclables\, we'll take them. Have documents you want to destroy? The Paper Predator will be out for your shredding needs. And most importantly\, let's not forget all of the community and civic groups that will be sponsoring educational booths informing us how to be good caretakers of our planet.
