DESCRIPTION:Shelby Development Corporation\n\n	Design Committee\n\n	2012 \n\n	Annual Plant Container Contest\n\n	\n\n	The Design Committee is encouraging business owners in the downtown area to put their own colorful planters in front of their businesses this summer.  Adding color to your business will encourage shoppers to step inside.  Please join us in this promotion to help brighten and beautify our downtown area.\n\n	\n\n	Judging Dates:  May 11th thru June 1st.  (As the judges will be from out of town\, they will be in Shelbyville on different days.)  Winner will be announced at the Street Party Concert on June 30th.  Please plan to be present at 8:00pm to hear if your business wins.\n\n	\n\n	Sponsored by:  Design Committee of Shelby Development Corporation\n\n	\n\n	Eligibility:  All businesses on Main and Washington Streets between 3rd and 11th Streets\, and numbered streets in between.\n\n	\n\n	Award:  The winning business will receive a personalized Dairy Queen Cake\n\n	\n\n	Types of Planters:  All shapes\, sizes and materials are acceptable.
